The RxBalance Approach Research-Advertising Partnerships

RxBalance pairs clinical researchers and medical advertising professionals to co-create healthcare content that promotes responsible prescribing and shared decision-making. This approach, which is designed to inform providers and engage, empower and motivate high-risk patients, is being evaluated in a NIH-funded study taking place at Stanford School of Medicine in 2015.  Our ad-style messages will be delivered via health system patient portals to high-risk, complex patients who are not on optimal medications as indicated in their electronic health record.
